Privacy Policy

Last updated November 4, 2026

This policy covers the RuckDay app for iPhone and Apple Watch, the ruck.day website, and the RuckDay signup list.

The short version: the app has no account and we don't sell or share your data. Your rucks, health data and location stay on your devices.

The app

Location

While a ruck is in progress, RuckDay uses your location to measure distance, pace and your route. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Apple Health

With your permission, the Apple Watch app reads heart rate and distance and saves each ruck to Apple Health as a workout. Health data never leaves Apple Health and is never used for advertising.

Data on your devices

Your ruck history is stored on your iPhone and shared only with RuckDay's own widgets and your paired Apple Watch. Deleting the app deletes this history.

The website and signup list

What we collect

If you sign up for early access, we store your email address. That's all we ask for. The calculator runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you enter in it is sent to us.

How we use it

We only use your email to tell you about RuckDay: when the beta opens and when the app launches. We don't sell or share it, and we don't send marketing from anyone else.

Who processes it

Signup emails are stored with Resend, our email provider. The site is hosted on Vercel. Both act on our behalf and only for these purposes.

Affiliate links

Some links on the Gear page may be affiliate links. The store you visit may use cookies to credit us for a purchase. We don't receive any information about you from them.

Your choices

To be removed from the list and have your address deleted, reply to any of our emails or write to hello@ruck.day.
